Crush & Press

IMG_1357 Crush: Nature determines when the grapes are ripe, therefore the exact crush dates will be announced a week in advance. They will typically fall on Saturdays in September and October. You will need to be present to “crush” your grapes and initiate fermentation.

Press:  If you are making red wine, you also need to return in a week to 10 days to “press” the juice from the “must”.
